Kathryn will provide you with an overview of each of the components of the assessment in detail. At the end of this session, you will know exactly what to expect from all aspects of the assessment process and understand how you can best prepare for each of them.

Session: 45 minutes

Understand the purpose of the digital interview and practise your own tailor made online digital interview. Receive feedback and find out if you are ready to take the first step in the assessment process.

Session: Digital interview + 20 minute feedback session

Complete an online personality questionnaire (the same one used by many airlines). Your results will be emailed to you and you will participate in a one-on-one video call to understand the purpose of the questionnaire. Kathryn will talk though your results with you.

Session: Personality questionnaire + 30 minute feedback session

Does your assessment process involve cognitive assessments? Not sure what a cognitive assessment looks like and have no idea how well you might do in this type of assessment? Why not take the actual test and get your results? You will then gain an understanding of how well you perform and if you should invest time practising for this component of the assessment.

Here is your chance to be coached by an aviation professional who has assessed and interviewed thousands of pilots at one of the world’s leading airlines.

We focus on the behavioural (also known as the competency-based) interview.

You will:

• Complete an online personality questionnaire; the same questionnaire used by many airlines which will produce a tailored interview guide based on your results. (The same interview guide which will be used by your panel who is going to interview you.)
• Receive a step-by-step interview preparation guide, including company research techniques; skill mapping to the job profile; practise techniques; practicalities of the interview day; as well as an understanding of the ‘STAR’ interview technique, and how to tackle those dreaded strength and weaknesses questions.
• Receive a workbook with sample questions for you to work through.
• Have the opportunity to prepare examples to competency-based questions in your own time.

When you are ready, you will participate in a 90-minute video call with Kathryn which will cover:

• A comprehensive mock interview based on your tailored behavioural interview guide.
• The interview will be followed by feedback on your responses and advice will be provided to ensure you are ready to succeed in any interview.
